There are many instrumental melodies in wide use in, e.g., коломийки, whether of Ukrainian origin or not. Unfortunately, their original titles are often lost as they are typically learned by ear, and you'll often find them referred to by names like "Ivan's Polka" on musical albums, because a guy named Ivan liked it. This is an attempt to catalogue the names and some renditions of some common melodies.
