* In half-на-пів songs, generally write English words in English and Ukrainian words in Cyrillic.
* In half-на-пів songs, generally write English words in English and Ukrainian words in Cyrillic. Exception: If the word is to be pronounced with a heavy English pronunciation, transliterate it instead. For example, write "бараболя" if the "R" is to be rolled, but "barabolya" if you are to pronounce the "R" like one would in American/Canadian English.
* Prefer writing macaronic words as their constituent parts (e.g. "fun"-у, not фону; "cop"-и, not капи). Exception if the macaronic word has taken on a new pronunciation in Ukrainian (e.g. use ґару, not "car"-у; use Йорктону not "Yorktown"-у), but a note must be made in the addendum.
* The opposite is also true - English words pronounced with a noticeable Ukrainian accent should be transliterated into Cyrillic. If you transliterate English words into Cyrillic, you must include an explanation in the addendums. Exception: Entire phrases should not be transliterated, just one or two words as part of a larger phrase in either Ukrainian or English. e.g. Use "Форденятко закурило а потім..." but not "Гі дров зе форд ту зе бар"
