Ladies and gentlemen... ladies and gentlemen, I have a very pleasant duty to perform here this afternoon, namely to present to Mickey and Bunny a City of Winnipeg Community Service Award. To Mickey and Bunny we offer hearty congratulations on attaining success in the world of entertainment. Despite the heavy commitments, they still devote their valuable time to charity performances, as they did before receiving international recognition. Judging from the talent they possess, we sometimes wonder how long they will remain in our midst. Nevertheless, we shall ever be reminded of the hours of entertainment and, particularly, the enjoyment you brought to patients confined in hospitals, senior citizens, and people in other institutions, not to mention your other charity engagements.
