It's unclear who wrote "Квітка мого життя" and if it was originally intended as a separate song or was written as an intro for the "[[Там, на пляжі на Маямі]]" excerpt from the start. "Там, на пляжі на Маямі" was an independent composition, a loose translation of "Miami Beach Rhumba".
Completely unknown history. These songs are also frequently sung separately, so it's unclear if they were originally 2 songs which somebody later mashed together or if they started combined and were later split. The former seems more likely, especially considering how the vast majority of sources include only the "На Маямі" portion.


It has been claimed that Остап Гавалєшка wrote "Квітка мого життя" - Ostap confirmed with me that he did NOT write it (email conversation with Danylo Centore - 23 May, 2022).
We are choosing to keep them combined mainly to preserve the "А-а-а" portion of the chords and lyrics. If it weren't for the transition, they would likely be split.

According to Marianne Diachenko, this song was basically unknown until it was performed by them at Свято Весни in 1980, afterwards people adopted that song and the moves.
